HubSpot implementation cost in 2026

Last updated: 2026-10-30 · Reviewed by Noah Charak, Managing Director

A HubSpot implementation has three costs: the HubSpot licence and, on Professional and Enterprise plans, HubSpot's one-time onboarding fee, both paid to HubSpot; the partner's implementation fee; and the cost of migrating your data, plus your own team's time. HubSpot's list price is £81 per seat per month on Professional and £155 on Enterprise, billed annually. At Checkpoint GTM, a Berlin-based HubSpot Platinum Partner for Seed to Series B B2B SaaS companies, a standard Sales Hub and Marketing Hub implementation costs €15K–€50K (about £12.5K–£42K) over 6–10 weeks, a CRM migration to HubSpot starts at €15K (about £12.5K), Enterprise-tier projects can exceed €100K and support after go-live runs €6K–€25K (about £5K–£21K) per month. Our prices are set in EUR and exclude VAT; the sterling figures are conversions at the ECB reference rate of 29 October 2026.

What are the parts of a HubSpot implementation cost?

Most quotes mix these together. Keep them apart: they are paid to different people, on different schedules, and only some of them are negotiable.

What does the HubSpot licence cost?

HubSpot now sells new customers one platform instead of separate hubs: Sales, Marketing and Service together, priced per seat in three tiers, with a monthly allowance of HubSpot credits. These are HubSpot's list prices as published on its pricing page.

Customers still on HubSpot's older per-hub plans pay the per-hub prices instead, for example £85 per sales seat per month for Sales Hub Professional and £780 per month for Marketing Hub Professional with 3 core seats included. See HubSpot's Product and Services Catalogue (choose EUR or GBP in its currency selector).

Does HubSpot charge an onboarding fee?

Yes, on Professional and Enterprise. HubSpot requires a one-time onboarding fee on top of the licence; Starter plans do not need one. HubSpot's catalogue lists the fee per hub for its per-hub plans. For the new unified seat plans HubSpot also requires onboarding but publishes no amount, so ask for it in writing with your licence quote.

HubSpot lets its Solutions Partners waive this fee for their clients, up to a value of $6,000 per client, which is less than the €7,000 (about £5,850) Marketing Hub Enterprise fee. When a partner runs your implementation, ask whether the HubSpot onboarding fee is waived, so you do not pay twice for the same setup work.

Migration and internal time: the parts nobody quotes

A migration is often priced inside the implementation, but it is its own cost driver. With us, a CRM migration to HubSpot is a fixed-scope project from €15K (about £12.5K), scoped before work starts. Four things set its size:

  • Data volume and condition. Moving clean records is quick. Triaging years of fields, workflows and duplicates is not.
  • Activity history. It is the largest driver of migration time and the smallest driver of forecast quality. Our default is 90 days of activity, every open deal and the closed-won deals still on a renewal cycle; the rest stays in a read-only archive.
  • Automation. Workflows, formula fields and validation rules are rebuilt for HubSpot, not copied one to one.
  • Integrations. Each connected tool is moved one at a time, with a rollback plan, so one failure never takes the whole stack down.

How much internal time does a HubSpot implementation need?

Your team's time is on no invoice, but an implementation stalls without it. Plan for:

  • A named internal owner for the whole project, who makes decisions and owns the portal after handoff.
  • Process owners from sales, marketing and customer success in the discovery workshops, which take about the first two weeks.
  • Weekly demos and testing. Someone who knows your deals checks the build every week and tests real records before cutover.
  • Training for every user, plus an admin handoff with recorded SOPs, so your team owns the portal long-term.

What moves the price of a HubSpot implementation?

The same project name can mean very different work. These factors move a partner quote, and some of them move the licence too.

How long does a HubSpot implementation take?

A standard Sales Hub and Marketing Hub implementation takes 6–10 weeks from kickoff to launch. Most of our engagements kick off within two weeks of signing.

Worked example: a Series A team moving from Pipedrive

An assumption, not a quote: a Series A B2B SaaS company with 10 sales reps and 3 marketers, 13 paid users in all, moves from Pipedrive to HubSpot Professional, with three integrations and the migration scoped inside the implementation.

In its per-hub catalogue, Professional onboarding costs €4,500 (about £3,760) for Sales Hub and Marketing Hub, or €6,000 (about £5,010) with Service Hub. A Solutions Partner can waive it.

Change one assumption and the total moves: Enterprise seats cost £155 instead of £81, and each extra integration or year of activity history adds partner time. That is why we scope before quoting.

HubSpot implementation cost: questions, answered

How much does a HubSpot implementation cost?

Budget three parts. The HubSpot licence, from £81 per seat per month on Professional, billed annually; HubSpot's one-time onboarding fee on Professional and Enterprise, €1,500–€7,000 (about £1,250–£5,850) per hub in its catalogue unless a partner waives it; and the partner's fee. With Checkpoint GTM, a standard Sales Hub and Marketing Hub implementation costs €15K–€50K (about £12.5K–£42K) over 6–10 weeks, and Enterprise-tier projects can exceed €100K. Our prices are set in EUR and exclude VAT.

Does HubSpot charge an onboarding fee?

Yes, on Professional and Enterprise plans; Starter plans do not need one. HubSpot's catalogue lists €3,000 (about £2,510) for Marketing Hub Professional and €7,000 (about £5,850) for Marketing Hub Enterprise, and €1,500 on Professional and €3,500 on Enterprise for Sales Hub and Service Hub. HubSpot publishes no GBP amount. HubSpot Solutions Partners can waive the fee for their clients, up to a value of $6,000 per client.

What does a CRM migration to HubSpot cost?

With Checkpoint GTM, a CRM migration to HubSpot is a fixed-scope project from €15K (about £12.5K). A single system typically takes about eight weeks once the target data model is agreed; projects with several integrations take 12–16 weeks. Data volume, activity history, automation and integrations set the size.

How long does a HubSpot implementation take?

A standard Sales Hub and Marketing Hub implementation takes 6–10 weeks from kickoff to launch. Complex implementations or migrations with multiple integrations take 12–16 weeks. Every implementation we run includes a 30-day optimisation window after go-live.

Why do HubSpot partner prices vary so much?

Because the same project name covers very different work: the number of hubs and the tier, how much data and history you migrate, how many tools you integrate, how many users need training and how many teams and pipelines the portal has to serve. Compare written scopes, not only totals.

Do HubSpot partners charge by the hour or a fixed price?

Both models exist. We price implementations and migrations as fixed-scope projects, scoped before work starts, so you know the cost before you sign. Our hourly list rate is €245 (about £205), excl. VAT.

What does HubSpot cost after go-live?

The HubSpot licence continues every month or year. Partner support is optional: after the 30-day optimisation window, most of our clients move to a retainer of €6K–€25K (about £5K–£21K) per month, from 10 hours a month up to 30 hours a week.

Is there a smaller way to start?

If you are a founder still running every sales conversation yourself, the GTM Kickstarter is a four-week sprint at €2,000 fixed (about £1,670) that shapes the sales motion before a CRM build. HubSpot Starter has no onboarding fee, so a small team can begin there and move to Professional later.
