At Checkpoint GTM, we build the systems that help B2B companies sell: CRMs, data flows, outbound engines, and the automations that connect them. As a Working Student in GTM Engineering, you'll join our delivery team and help us find better ways to do this work, for our clients and for ourselves.
This is an engineering role first. CRM and go-to-market are the domain, but the day-to-day is building: workflows, integrations, data pipelines and internal tools. You won't just work through a ticket queue. You'll sit in on client problems, bring your own ideas to the table, and help us turn the good ones into something that works.
You'll work remotely from Germany (preferably Berlin), with regular on-site sessions with the team. Standard Werkstudent setup: around 20 hours per week during the semester, flexible around your lecture schedule.
What you'll do
You'll work on internal and client projects alongside our consultants and engineers, including:
- Support the delivery of all Checkpoint GTM services. Explore our service offerings
- Build and test GTM workflows in Clay, n8n, lemlist, Cargo and Instantly
- Help design outbound systems: lead generation, ICP mapping and personalised messaging at scale
- Design and document data architectures, process maps and integration specs
- Build dashboards, automations and reports in HubSpot and Salesforce
- Write small bits of SQL, Python or API glue when the no-code tools hit their limits
- Try out new tools and approaches, AI included where it helps, and share what works with the team
- Help improve our internal processes, templates and playbooks
- Work with senior consultants on client strategy and enablement projects
Who you are
- Enrolled student in Germany, ideally based in Berlin
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
- Studying Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Informatics or a related technical field
- Curious about how CRM systems, data architecture and GTM automation work together
- Comfortable getting into tools, reading documentation and figuring things out hands-on
- A structured thinker who can translate business requirements into system logic
- Proactive: you don't wait to be told what to do next, and you speak up when you see a better way
Bonus points if you've
- Written SQL, Python or TypeScript, or used REST APIs to move and transform data
- Built something end-to-end on your own, like a side project, an automation or a small tool
- Used Clay, lemlist, Instantly, Cargo, HubSpot, n8n or similar
- Worked on a marketing, RevOps or CRM systems project
You'll love this role if you
- Prefer building over brainstorming, and like testing ideas quickly
- Think in systems and automations instead of spreadsheets
- Want a say in how a small, growing team works
- Want to see how engineering decisions play out across many companies, not just one
- Want direct mentorship from people who've done this at scale, not managed it from a distance
What you'll get
- Ownership of projects that shape client outcomes
- A voice in the team: your ideas get heard, tested and shipped
- Mentorship from senior RevOps and GTM engineers with 80+ implementations behind them
- Exposure across the full modern GTM stack: HubSpot, Salesforce, n8n, Clay, Apollo, Aircall, Gong and more
- Full access to the tools we use in client work, including Claude and Codex
- Freedom to experiment and propose ideas
- Regular team meetups for strategy sessions and time together
If this sounds like your kind of adventure, we'd love to hear from you!
